Join the Logo Design Competition!

The year 2027 marks the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP). As a full member-organization of WONCA since 1978, HKCFP have extensive experience and an excellent track record in organizing successful international conferences and events, including the WONCA Regional Conferences in 1987 and 2009, and the WONCA World Conference in 1995. We are confident that the WONCA Asia Pacific Regional (APR) Conference 2027 in Hong Kong will provide an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone with the global family medicine community, as part of our ongoing efforts to promote the concept of primary healthcare and family medicine both internationally and locally.

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for creative minds to design the official logo for the WONCA APR Conference 2027 in Hong Kong! This prestigious event will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in primary care.

The winning logo will become the proud symbol of the Conference and will be used in various materials and applications related to the Conference.

Prize:

The winner of the logo design competition will receive free conference registration and one night of accommodation in a designated hotel.

Timeline:

Submission deadline: 1 May 2025

Announcement of result: 12 July 2025 at the Hong Kong Primary Care Conference.

The winner will be contacted by our staff at the conclusion of the competition.

Submission details:

• All members of the College and their family members are eligible to participate in the competition.

• Entries must be submitted by electronic format.  The image size of the file must not exceed 1280 x 1024 pixels. The image can be saved at a resolution that will enable us to zoom in to see details during judging, but the file size must not exceed 10MB. File formats: .jpeg, .png; preferably in RGB color mode.

• Each entrant may submit up to a maximum of THREE pieces of design work. The submission(s) must be email to YvonneChow@hkcfp.org.hk.

• Each entrant must submit the entries together with a submission form which includes,

  • the brief description of the design concept (max 200 words)

  • contact details of the entrant,

  • the declaration of originality and authorisation on copyrights.

  • The submission form is available at www.hkcfp.org.hk.

• All entries will be acknowledged upon receipt.

• All entries will NOT be returned.

• All entries will become the property of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians.

• The copyrights of the winning entry would be transferred to the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians.

Judging Panel:

To be orgainsed by the Publication Committee of the WONCA APR Conference 2027 Host Organising Committee

Judging Criteria:

The logo should work

• as a symbol of the theme of the Conference

• across online and print media, and the various applications, in terms of legibility, size/area, graphic strength, etc.
